June Brae (1917-2000). British ballet dancer who trained with Margot Fonteyn as a child in Shanghai. Entered the Vic-Wells Ballet School in 1933, and progressed into the Vic-Wells Ballet. Danced leading roles in a range of ballets, retiring in 1942 after getting married. Returned to the stage following WW2 to dance with the Sadler’s Wells Ballet and the Sadler’s Wells Theatre Ballet.

Marjorie Tallchief (1926-2021). Ballet Dancer of Native American heritage, who danced with many companies around the world, including the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas and the Chicago Opera Ballet. Later became a proponent of ballet in Chicago, alongside her older sister Maria Tallchief.
